Since we firmly established ourselves in the wedding marquee market in the early 90’s we have supplied thousands of marquees to countless happy couples all of whom have been delighted with our service and the quality of our product.

Our Structures
All our marquee structures are wind tested for up to 97kmh winds and are very, very sturdy and shouldn’t be compared to lighter-weight gazebos as offered by some of our competitors.
We will offer you all the advice and suggestions that are specific to your requirements from your initial contact and during every stage on the run up to the Wedding Day.

At D&D Marquees, we will work closely alongside you to help you create the most amazing wedding venue you can dream of, using our extensive experience of over thirty years and our large range of equipment.
We will work with couples to create themes that work particularly well with marquee hire, such as: classic, traditional, rustic and vintage.
The whole package
We will meet up with you and plan your wedding at the site and normally provide a CAD drawing and an in depth quotation.
Once you have reserved a marquee, you may wish to have further meetings and can always add things on or add to the numbers right up to the delivery day which would normally be in the week leaving plenty of time for caterers and other suppliers to set up.
We normally remove the marquee Monday onwards so you’re more than welcome to use it again on the Sunday for another event such as a family BBQ.
The marquee can be as basic or as plush as you like and we can provide all the equipment required such as: traditional, rustic and vintage.

What size of marquee do I need for my wedding?
There is no direct answer to this question, when designing your own marquee and layout it can be as informal or formal as you like.
For seating guests the rule of thumb is that in each 3m x 3m square area (or 10ft x 10ft) you can seat up to 10 persons. You must take into consideration if you wanted to be seated at round tables of eight to ten persons, or in straight lines using long trestle tables and whether you require a traditional top table.
Another consideration is how many extra evening guests you will be having and how much space do you want for a bar/reception and chill out area and how much space the entertainment area will take up, this will take up more space if you're having a band and stage as well as a dance floor and DJ areas.

Bloody brilliant! Our daughter and her fiance wanted a marquee in the garden for their wedding reception. This meant squeezing a marquee into a space only just big enough and having three trees inside, plus toilets, catering tent, generator, power distribution and heating (as it was in March).
